Having qualified from Salisbury College of Art in 1990 with my HND in Photography, I spent a few years working for, among others, P+O on world cruise liners, leaving in 1995.
From 1992 onwards I was Chief Photographer on several ships running a team of up to 6photographers and weekly turnaround of anywhere up to $60,000.
A very fast and frantic time but very good fun!!!
Returning to Scotland in 1995, along with two partners, I set up a company shooting corporate events, eventually working for myself in Edinburgh.
In late 1999 I moved to Bristol where I built up a client base, mostly Design and Advertising agencies, shooting a wide range of subjects and formats.
A change in circumstances in 2002 had me venturing back North to Edinburgh, though I still work occasionally in the South West.
Throughout the last several years I have also been shooting Graduations for one of the cities colleges.
I work in all formats from 5x4, Large Format Panoramic, Medium Format, 35mm and 35mm Digital.
Recent projects include editorial work for Sunday magazines, corporate briefs for website and annual reports, as well as bespoke artwork for one of the cities newest major hotels
supplying all original framed B+W prints for each of the rooms.
